Playful Chickadee

Spring is an especially wondrous time to observe and be surprised by creatures in our backyards, literally, as I caught this chickadee hunting for nesting materials.

Serenity

Seagulls agree that taking time to drink in the serene wonder at Deerhurst Lake (Huntsville, ON) is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in early spring.

Glorious respite at Deerhurst

While attending a conference at Deerhurst Resort (Huntsville, ON), I took in the contemplative mood of the melting ice on Deerhurst Lake, framed by nature's slow and deliberate re-awakening.

Ragged Falls (Huntsville, ON)

Back in April, it was well worth the 20 minute trek over ice and mud to reach Ragged Falls, just outside of Huntsville, in beautiful cottage country north of Toronto. Raging currents from the melting snow was wondrous to watch and hear.

Natural Beauty

Grateful to a generous donor who makes it possible to have "Natural Beauty" (sunset at Jordan Harbourside, Niagara) hanging in the Provincial Office, Ontario-Kentucky Province of the Resurrectionists in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Down by the river side

With strength, grace and thriving by the river side...a symbol of the amazing spirit of life, within and all around us. Spring opens my eyes to the wonderment of life re-emerging after winter's slumber.
